Two new textile art Seascapes finally finished

My little framed textile art seascapes are by far my most popular item, but I haven’t had a chance to make any for quite a few weeks. I have been caught up in the frenzy that was our schools Fun Fair. This involved many weeks of making various props and decorations and basically took over my life for a while. Well the fair has finally been and gone and enjoyed by all so it is back to making for me. I have started making Christmas orders for Advent Quilts.. yes already!. but decided to take a break from that today and make some little seagull scenes.

These are the two little pieces I made today.

I always seem to go back to the recurring theme of seagulls on beaches, there is something quite soothing and peaceful about them to me. These are framed in a black box frame measuring 18 x 24 x 4 cm (7 x 9 1/2 x 1 3/4 in) with a cream mount.
